Creative Sprouts was designed and developed to recognize each child as an individual and alter learning for their specific needs. Our teachers are trained to identify differences, special needs and learning preferences that allow each child to be as successful as they can be. We have learned that children learn best through discovery and hands on experiences. Our goal at Creative Sprouts is to incorporate a variety of enrichment activities that provide opportunity for our children to learn through interactive experiences such as music/movement, yoga, story telling, physical education and the arts. Enrichment activities will not only be developed by our teachers, but will also be provided other teachers and educators within the community.
Our center is designed and licensed to hold 66 children including two Infant classrooms, two Toddler classrooms, a Pre-school room and a Pre-Kindergarten classroom. Each classroom is designed with floor to ceiling windows and a large layout providing room for a lot of movement. However, we will also have a large gross motor space separate from the classrooms, which will include large motor manipulatives for utilization. Each classroom will have a designated time slot throughout the day to utilize this room. Our outside area is just a quick walk out of the front door and down a short path. Teachers are trained on how to safely walk their classrooms down to the playground using a "walking-rope".
