Meet the Owners

My name is Kayla and I am a Co-Owner/Founder of Creative Sprouts Childcare Center! I grew up close to Saratoga, in Rotterdam, New York with my family of six . Ever since I can remember, I have always enjoyed teaching and working with young children. I have over 10+ years of experience in the Early Childhood field, including a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood and acquiring a Masters in Applied Behavior Analysis. I taught Pre-K and Kindergarten for a combined total of 5 years and enjoy creating curriculums that are developmentally appropriate and child specific for each individual child. One of my goals was to eventually not only teach children, but educate teachers on lesson planning, classroom management and other necessary skills utilized within the classroom. Opening my own childcare center has always been a dream of mine since I can remember and doing so I am able to do both together!  I truly believe that childcare is the foundation for any child's educational career. Here we will not only teach academics, but we are teaching empathy, understanding of emotions, social skills and most importantly how to be kind.  My passion for teaching children and teachers has only increased over the years and I am very excited to begin this journey with all of you! 

  Hi, my name is Morgen and I am the Co-Owner/Founder of Creative Sprouts Childcare Center. I grew up in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, Pennsylvania with my family. I am the oldest of five children, which began my passion of caring for others. In 2014, I moved to upstate New York shortly after graduating from Marywood University with a bachelor’s in early childhood education. I have over 10 years of experience in the education field ranging from student teaching to my love of teaching Pre-K, which ultimately led to an opportunity to become an Administrator. I have 4 years of experience combined as an Assistant Director and a Director of a childcare center. I am passionate about the education, well-being and socialization of all children. I believe all children should be provided with the opportunity and support to grow socially, emotionally and intellectually. My ability to promote empathy in children and encourage positive behavior gives children and teachers a great chance to build up to their fullest potential. It has always been a dream of mine to use my knowledge, background and experience to further my career by opening a childcare center. It is my hope to share my love of teaching to help mentor future teachers at our center!
